Zambrano or Isringhausen?

Postby fantasy-gamer » Fri Feb 06, 2004 3:47 pm

16-teams, $260 cap

C.Zambrano ($4)
Isringhausen ($11)

My six likely keepers:
Pujols $43
Blalock $4
Reyes $4
Peavy $4
C.Zambrano $4
Vazquez $16
= $75 total

---Helton $44, Arod $57, Gagne $38 are also keeper considerations for me---

I assume that in a 16 team leagues it's hard to find good closers.

can you keep both?

I'd keep Izzy over Zambrano but I would keep both if given the option.

i'd also lean towards keeping Helton at $44.

unless you think he'll go for cheaper in the draft...

I would go with Both Zambrano and Izzy and let Peavy go.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

the risk of keeping Izzy at $11 is greater than than the reward...(maybe he could earn $25????)

on the other hand, if zambrano puts it together, with an improved offense hitting behind him, you never know.

Plus at $4, what is there to lose....and I'd be willing to bet you could buy back Izzy (if you like him that much) for close to $11.....someone will pay more for Z.
