On the sports ticker, it also said that he was headed to the DL today. And even if he wasn't, he wouldn't be starting. I don't have anything official, but I would think that Yahoo just made a mistake.
I'm so freakin' confused. I checked out the Toronto papers online this morning and they all had him going to the DL tonight. Yahoo has him starting, so I moved him to my MI spot. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
This is as illuminating as a Tony Snow press conference. If he goes on the DL now, it can be back-dated to July 8. But if he plays today and then goes on the DL, they've just wiped away five days on the return end. And why would you play a guy even for an at-bat if he needs down time? Whatever ... he's 2-for-13 against Wakefield, so he's staying on my bench tonight anyway.
If Hill goes on the DL it will complete the decimation of my once productive middle infield. I've already lost Christian Guzman (there's a shock) and Miguel Tejada.
The only thing worse than seeing Khalil Greene in your fantasy lineup is being thankful that he was still available in your league...
