Is Upton Returning Today?

What's the official word on Upton. I'm hearing he might come back today, but it seems I've been hearing that for over two weeks now.

We should be used to this crap by now from Joe Maddon. He is the absolute worst when it comes to disclosing injuries or being truthful about when his injured players will return. I would like to kick him in the shins for being such a difficult jerk. Luckily I expected him to pull this crap and didn't even think about putting BJ in my weekly lineup.

The Devil Rays announced late Thursday afternoon that they intend to activate Upton (quad) off the DL on Friday rather than Thursday.
Spin: Upton will make one more minor league rehab appearance for High-A Vero Beach on Thursday night. Upton had a rehab game rained out on Sunday, and we wondered at the time if that would push back his activation off the DL by one day; evidently it has.
