Who would you draft first in a 5 X 5 league?

im not sure what a 5x5 league is....im assuming its 5 hitters, 5 pitchers.

i would take sheffield over sosa. Sosa's numbers are declining, and i think sheffield will explode with the yanks.

5x5 is 5 batting categories and 5 pitching categories ... it is the most common of all fantasy baseball games played... and yes Sheffield should go first :-D

I think being from Chicago was blurring my vision. I was thinking Sheff, but Sosa just kept popping in my mind, oh well thanks for clarifying.

That bad taste comes from a bat that is so slow that cobwebs are starting to appear on it. You're looking at a .250, 40 HR hitter at this stage of his career at best. Let someone else mess with the guy.
