I ended up getting him for pretty cheap in my auction this year, but I was never really sold on him. I'm usually pretty patient with slow starting studs, but Andruw looks like such a hacker at the plate, I'm less convinced that the numbers will be there at the end. I'm not saying he won't produce, but I don't have as much faith in him as I do with other slow starts, like Pronk or Vernon Wells.

I ended up trading him for Wells 2 weeks ago, and so far, it looks like I made a good choice.

I feel he's going to end up in the 32 HR, 110 RBI range but bat .240 or so.. Not bad considering his 1st half

I think you can still buy low on Jones. Even with his horrible 1st horrible first half, his werent too far from a 30hr, 100 rbi pace. If his average gets back to the .270 range, I see him having a monster 2nd half.

Buy low on him NOW if you a power bat. He had a horrible first half and still hit 15 HR. The AVG has to pick up soon too. I just traded Figgins for him and have a feeling he's going to put my over the top in the 2nd half.
