Postby RynMan » Fri Feb 06, 2004 12:04 am

Help! this is flat out tough. Maybe Garciaparra....i have never really been a big Tejada fan with the bat.....though i am an A's fan.

I would go with garciaparra he is a better hitter, he will get you a better BA and more steals. Garciapparra and tejada are about equal for HRs and RBIs, so I think Garciaparra gets the edge with his BA and SBs

Hold the Phone!!! i jus checked out edger renteria's stats last year: .330, 13, 100 RBI, 34 steals.
Nomar: .301, 28, 105 RBI, 19 steals.

Now who? Renteria or Nomar?

Nomah!!!!!!!!!!

No knock against Renteria but it takes more than one season to crack the big 4. Jeez I remember when it was called the big 3 before Tejada upped the pool. If he does it again go ahead and call it the big 5.

He may but... Garciaparra is a much safer pick and consistantly puts up great numbers. Last year could have merely been a carreer year for Renteria.
