Should you get a point for your guy getting hit by a pitch

I know stupid idea right? I mean it is called taking one for the team, so why not get a point for this. I just get frustrated when my guy gets hit by a pitch and loses a chance to gain me a point. I know in a category or Roto league that is also a chance for your BA not to get lowered. But still frustrating in a points league to see an AB go by without a chance to get a point or 2. I am just stupid or what??????

on the same wavelength, it's kind of weird to have HBP not count towards a pitchers WHIP. nothing like following a game and seeing your pitcher go down 3-0 on a hitter then plunk him. yeah go my pitcher! HBP!!! now roll 2!

I think a HBP should definitely count against a pitcher's WHIP.

If you play in a league with OBP or OPS...then you are rewarded slightly for a HBP...I've never played in a points league before, but it seems like ti should get you a point.

HBP = 1 point

HB = -1 point

It's gotta count
