Joey Votto - Must See Post

Would anyone care to venture a projection of what type of hitter he'll be? Are we looking at an AVG hovering around .300 with good power - so basically another power hitting 1B? Or is there something special that should attract my attention to him in particular? I'm sitting on Teix in a 12 team 9-player keeper league, and so I guess I'm looking for Votto's value in such a league.

In his prime (2010-): .310 25HR 95RBI 90R 6SB - and a lot of doubles, if your leagues does that sort of thing.

Honesty, I don't think he'll ever be a sure fire keeper (if you're keeping 9), especially if he sticks at 1st base. Jay Bruce has infinately more fantasy potential IMO.
