Trade for a starter or promote within

Assuming the Sox get little to nothing out of Schill the second half, would you rather the Sox trade for a starter or promote Lester or Buchholz or both?

I don't like going into the playoffs with just Beckett and Daisuke.

I think we'll get something out of Schill. But seriously, Beckett-Dice-Wakefield is enough for a short series, and I don't think it's worth trading for a starter just to go in a possible ALCS and WS.
