Early in the season I swung a trade of Brian Roberts and Chipper for Bedard. I was worried that I was overpaying, even with Chipper's injuries...

But I've been pretty happy with it

I don't see the problem with this. I was thinking the same thing after watching his performance last night, masterful. It's posted in baseball leftovers if you don't like the line of the threads and comments made by others here than don't read them. You read thru two pages, you could have stopped with the thread opener.

Not that it tops the no-hitters or Peavy's 17-K night, but I'll mention Penny's 14 Ks, 0 BB, and 5 hits against the Marlins, for the record.
