this is easy... it's clearly Ray Durham.

just last year, Durham was rated over Vidro and rightly so if you look at the stats.... he had so many problems last year and his numbers suffered.

he can still hit... I look for .285, 14 hr, 55 rbi, 24sb, 110 runs....

the other guys on the list are unproven... Durham is capable of putting up stud numbers after learning the ropes in the NL.
-- we'll see what Hairston does after the ankle injury, he didn't do anything when he got back in Sept. Jimenez can put up similar numbers but can't seem to keep it together for an entire season. I don't think a head-case like Jimenez is in the best place to succeed w/ the lazy atmosphere in Cincy.

also, i think my 14 hr prediction is pretty modest. true, pacbell is no hitter's haven, but Durham can still hit the fastball w/ authority, and the NL is still considered a fastball league.

I am pretty sure that McLemore will take on a utility role.

Hairston or Roberts will be the second baseman, depending on who earns it by their play. McLemore will be stashed in the minors, pending any injuries, since he can cover 2b, SS, 3B, or even OF reasonably well.

I saw something the other day that Jimenez has an injury to his wrist playing winter ball, so that might raise an issue. I'd say Hairston (if you need more steals) and Durham otherwise.

I'd take Durham.

Jiminez will never live up to his potential, IMO. I remember when he was a bigger prospect than Soriano.
