What a Mangina. I finally just dropped this bum after holding on to him all year.

After finding no structural damage followed by a meeting with a shrink Rich Harden has officially been diagnosed with Pussitis. In extreme cases, for example, those who suffer from Pussitis require months of bed rest to recover from a paper cut.

I just picked him up for nothing and will stash him on the DL. He is not wasting a bench spot and he is due to return in September. I have no need for him whatsoever but if he comes back healthy for even two weeks then...

Who will be pitching in his spot, possibly/likely the rest of the way?

I hate Rich Harden and he's not even on my team. This is one of the best examples of just pure talent that can never be shown due to injuries. It's kind of sad actually. He has to much potential to be such a good starter in the majors and it never gets to be shown with all these injuries.

i was planning on cutting him outright as well but i have Dempster coming off so i guess i'll just rotate them and check the wire for any better option on the DL. he showed such promise this ST with all the K and just plain awesomeness...never again. :-?

I took a chance and traded for Harden back in March...thought maybe he could be his DL stints behind him and have a solid year. That fact is when healthy he's a very good pitcher...only problem is he's never healthy!

well congratulations! go you! you acted fast and were able to nab WANDY RODRIGUEZ!!!!11!!!1!! i'm sure that couldn't have waited two days, and if he got picked off waivers during that time, you'd probably be forced to pick someone better instead. it was almost inevitable harden would go on the DL but i've seen a lot stranger things happen. i'm holding on to him still. maybe he never pitches again this year or the rest of his life, but wandy rodriguez is a non-factor. harden, when pitching is actually helpful to a fantasy team.
