Is there some reason to think that we have to get there as quickly as possible? I heard someone say they will be limited. Is that true?

no..it's just more of a "low number" thing. It's cool to be in yahoo league "150" or something as opposed to league "136540"

Its more about the draft dates and times. Usually the dates closest to the start of the season go fast as do evening time slots.

yeah..if you are doing a live draft..that too.
