what makes you say that? he has been a monster of a hitter for years, and its not his mechanics its his mentality. the all-star break will be good he will get a break and hopefully comeback and starting ripping the cover off the ball.
Jones would have to his .300 the second half to even smell .250 much less higher, and let's not forget he is a ~.260 hitter. I think his best case scenario is to hit .270 for the second half, which would still leave his average around .235. I think he can put up his career average numbers for the second half 15-20 hr.

he actually stole 2, the last one was chipper, not andruw. Anyways, 2 sb is still great and anything andruw does is better than what he was doing before. I guess he has felt that he was inconsiderate to his fantasy owners who drafted him early hoping for a career year on his contract year. Me

PS It's AndrUw
Why do you care about his overall numbers? If he hits .270 through the 2nd half, thats a heck of a lot better than .200
He is not this bad of a hitter, he will find his swing.
Life is like riding an elevator. It has a lot of ups and downs and someone is always pushing your buttons.
I could care less what his average is. I traded for him for his power and RBI #'s. You get what you pay for. I hope he makes it to 35 homers and over 100 RBI'. Anything over that is a bonus.

Given Jones recent flare, do you start him the first week after the ASB?
I have Vlad, Bay, and Pence in OF. I have been using Tulowitski at utility. I have Tex, but I think I am going to sit him still for the first half week to see how that goes.
Play Jones? Or Tulowitski?
Expos... Gone, but not forgotten.
