Only MLB pitchers have the first name Tim..no hitters at all

Just an off the wall observation but there are only pitchers with the first name of Tim, not a single positional/hitting player that i can find. Kind of weird. Any other weird observations out there you guys have come made. Just curious and it could be interesting,

there aren't even hitters with those letters in any part of their name (first or last) in that order.

I know at one point Rickey Henderson was the only player in the major leagues that threw left-handed and batted (only) right-handed. Randy Johnson is another one, but I am counting only hitters. Anyone know of any players now that do this? Remember, only right-handed hitting.

I personally think that MLB needs to be aware of this situation and do everything in their power to develop young hitting Timmaaays.

Tim Moss was a speedy infielder for the Longhorns a few years back. I don't know if he ever got drafted or if he's in the minors anywhere near being called up, but if he is, we should definitely start a Tim Moss Countdown to the Majors in an effort to get a Tim in there.

Good Call Even though is not in the majors, I will give you credit for that one. Randy Johnson is another one.

Mike Hampton throws left and bats right I believe. And he *was* a good hitting pitcher.

There's probably more pitchers like that, because they learn to pitch lefty at a young age for lack of any natural lefties on their high school teams or whichever.
