For some reason im convinced hell find his spot in that potent tampa lineup and just start raking... am i the only one who feels that delmon could have a HUGE second half?

I really hope so, I just traded Victorino and Josh Fields for Zimmerman and Young in a keeper league. His athletic talent will explode, the question is when.

It's a shame that his talent for taking a walk will never explode , because if it did I would be interested in him. 604 PA in 2005 for 29 walks. 501 PA in 2006 for 16 walks. Wow that's explosive!

who cares if he doesn't walk? The guy gets on base and drives in runs. He likes to swing and so far it has paid off. He will move up in the lineup and i think he is in for a big 2nd half.
If he does have a breakout this year, I think it is still a few months away. He is still struggling with pitches out of the zone. I know he will never lead the league or his team in walks, but he still needs to learn to not swing at the pitch 8 inches off the plate just because it is straight. He has really grown by several leaps already this year, so if that stays true, I could see him go on a mashing spree this September or late August. He has all the tools in the world, he just needs a bit more time before becoming an offensive force.

Since when is a .308 OBP a guy who 'gets on base'?
I predict a 15-18HR, 80-90RBI, .250 - 270 AVG. It's not horrible for a rookie, on whom too much was expected. And please, we saw him explode last year with the bat incident. No explosions!
