Bedard...dead arm

Postby ShawshankVA » Thu Jul 05, 2007 5:14 pm

fanball reporting that E.Bedard says he has dead arm...no control over his pitches and no velocity. reason why ChiSox tore him up on Monday. he says he battles it every year...but still not good news. he had been on fire. oh well...

fight thru it man, my O's and my fantasy team needs ya...

Is there a link on this? I can't seem to find anything.

As much as I love him I've contemplated trading him just because he should return a pretty good bat...

I'll second that.

A guy in my league who needed a SS traded Bedard and Beltran for Hardy and Thome about a month ago. The trade somehow passed by one vote. I couldn't believe it

Os fan here...watched some of game. announcers were jokingly guessing same thing as well...that "dead arm" was a ploy. he was able to hit 97 mph in the late innings last night, vs low 90s on monday...that could be his version of "dead arm"

I hope he has a dead arm before every outing if it always leads to 9 innings and 15 k's

I was at the game last night and if his arm's dead, my hair's alive. He was awesome.
