Top Prospect Predictions for 08

Factoring in call-ups and lost eligibility (unpredictable as that may be), what are your predictions for the Top 20 Prospects heading into the 2008 season?

If I get some more time, I'll put together a top 20 list. My current favorite for the top spot next year is Jay Bruce.

Some that I would have to put on my list

1.) Longoria
2.) Gallardo (depending on what he does, if anything, this year)
3.) Justin Upton
4.) Jay Bruce
5.) Cameron Maybin
6.) Billy Butler
7.) Adam Miller
8.) Andrew Miller
9.) Reid Brignac
10.) Andrew McCutcheon
11.) Clayton Kershaw (could be placed maybe in front of the Millers but its hard because of his age)
12.) Luke Hochevar
13.) Brandon Wood
14.) Philip Hughes
15.) Matt Garza (his average hit against in the minors is a concern for me)
16.) Eric Hurley
17.) Felix Pie
18.) Scott Elbert
19.) James Loney
20.) Travis Snider

I like this set of 20....The first 5 are in my order I would predict, the rest are just as I thought of them.

As someone who follows the Tigers pretty closely, I doubt Maybin will see much of the big leagues in '08. He may get a cup of coffee towards the end of the '08 season, but thats about all I can see for him next yr.

The bolded ones will run out of eligibility this year.

Scott Elbert will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his pitching shoulder.

Elbert, who is the Dodgers' top pitching prospect, won't throw for several months. The Dodgers hope to have his shoulder 100 percent by spring training.

I like your list, Fantasy Man 27. I might have put Longoria ahead of Bruce, but otherwise, I think you're spot on.
