Would anyone touch Teixeira?

I'd take Tex as my 3B this year in a heartbeat.

I am actually planning to wait a while and then try to get him as my starting 3B. I had him most of last year, and he really performed for me toward the end. I suspect a breakout year this year.

I've got him for $2 in our keeper league. I also had Aaron Boone who was supposed to be my 3B. Right now, I'm leaning toward drafting a 3B and leaving Teix at 1B, but I may change my mind. That's the beauty of having players with multi-position eligibility.

By way of comparison, I would bet a lot of money he will do more for you than Glaus, who some idiot invariably makes the 3rd or 4th 3B taken because they are blinded by his power numbers.

Then again I am biased because I have Teixera as a keeper for $2.

Yeah, the guys in my league only really know the big names.....teixeira WONT get drafted (there are about 10-12 teams), and my train of thought is to focus on getting other big name positions that these guys WILL know liek outfielders etc and just leave him to last knowing he is nearly as good as other 3rd basemen, and wont get picked up.
