some kind of mild rotator cuff strain or something? I dunno whether emphasis on the word "mild" should be put into play but yeah. This is perfect, I was just about to package him in a sweet deal and he hits the DL. Any word on how long he'll be out?

Reyes has struggled recently and has a long history of arm problems, but was 17-for-18 converting saves. The Devil Rays are hoping he can return when eligible on July 18. Left-hander Jon Switzer was called up to replace him on the roster, but doesn't figure to be in the mix for save chances. Gary Glover is seemingly the favorite to take over ninth-inning duties, but he's about as likely to hurt fantasy teams as help them over the next two weeks.

I bet this injury has *nothing* to do with the idiotic decision to pitch Reyes in 2 innings a couple weeks ago even though he had already thrown way too many pitches in inning #1. Maddon is a moron.

Glover is expected to fill in for Reyes :-b The TB pen is officially "complete" garbage now with the loss of Reyes. Every team in the MLB can pretty much mark a W on their calendar if they're not facing Kazmir, Shields, and maybe Sonnanstine for the day. And Kazmir usually can't make it past the 5th or 6th anyways...

Not sure how serious this injury is. The team says it's "mild" but only a fool would trust that now with all the outright lies told by teams concerning injuries to their players. I think we'll just have to wait and see. I would definately not drop Reyes for the time being.

Glover is mediocre at best but a "confirmed" closer always has some value. How badly do you need saves?
