It seems logical to me that the yanks would get rid of Arod since he may just drop out and sign with the cubs anyways next year. Along with the fact that Zambrano isn't to happy in Chicago what do you guys think the chances are of an Arod for Zambrano trade?
The cubs lineup would look mighty impressive and the Yankees would have a pitcher who isn't the oldest person in the universe
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

I don't think the Yankees are going to trade Alex Rodriguez. They still see themselves as a playoff team, and ARod is a big part of that.

I don't think the Cubs would do that deal.

Zambrano's probably just going to wait it out and become a free agent, it would make more sense for the Yankees to not make a trade like that and take their chances with both of them in the offseason. I don't think the Yankees are exactly dying to get rid of A-Rod.

Well, Amatter I heard A-Rod played shortstop in the minors or something. Maybe they could move him back there.
The trade's not happening, but that's not the reason why.
