Yusmeiro Petit

I doubt anybody's tracking Petit as I am but wondering if anyone knows why he left his most recent start after 3 innings pitched? Gave up one run but also struck out five.

Hate to anwer my own question but if anybody is interested:

Turns out the Diamondbacks are lining up Yusmeiro Petit's AAA starts with Randy Johnson's MLB starts so that Petit will be available should RJ's back flare up on him again.

Good news for Petit owners.

Updating this thread that nobody but me seems to care about ... Yusmeiro Petit is starting tonight for the Diamondbacks in place of injured Randy Johnson.

I care, dude, I care! He was actually on my minor league roster until recently, and I suppose until my league's commish makes the official announcement about who is and isn't dropped, I can still retain rights to him. Is he worth keeping around? Does any of that potential he flashed in the lower minors have a snowball's chance in Hell of resurfacing now?

It's not that nobody cares...it's that nobody has much info on this guy. I've never heard of him either but I'll be keeping an eye on him.
