LA Times reporting interesting Dodger/White Sox Trade Rumor

The Los Angeles Times is reporting the Dodgers and White Sox have discussed a deal that would send Mark Buehrle to the Dodgers for Matt Kemp and possibly a prospect.

Kemp would immediately upgrade the White Sox outfield and could be an anchor on the team for the next several years.

If this holds any creedance, I think it might be a good idea to add Kemp in a speculative sense if he is still available in your league.

I'd like this trade a lot for the White Sox. It sounds like Kemp has a lot of offensive potential, and the White Sox desparately need that from a young OF.

matt kemp is awesome, he can def hit, he can run, and he plays great d in the field(easily has the best arm on dodgers right now)

i'd be pretty pissed if this happened. Kemp, Either, loney, and martin are the core offensive future of the dodgers with Kemp leading the way.....

Dodgers optioned LHP Hong-Chih Kuo to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Friday's outing was the last straw for the Dodgers. Kuo went 1-for-4 with a 6.75 ERA and a 27/13 K/BB ratio over 28 innings in his six starts for Los Angeles. The stuff is there, but the command wasn't.

So Kuo isn't even on the team anymore, so that would seem to make it an easy decision. Since I just picked up Buehrle I wouldn't mind that trade, he could possibly put up carreer year type numbers in that park and division in the 2nd half. Actually any NL team and his numbers would probably improve.

As a Sox fan I'll be pissed if that's all they get for Buhrle. I like Kemp a lot but they'd have to add a great pitching prospect to make it worth it for Kenny Williams.

I disagree, the Sox would be getting a cheap stud to man the outfield for years to come for Buehrle. I realize the kind of workhorse that he is but a think a return of Kemp and another more minor prospect would be worth the deal. This would free up money the Sox could use to acquire someone else as well because Kemp will come very cheap.

I would love to see Kemp get a starting gig this year as well, so I may be a little biased, but I think it makes a lot of sense.
