Should beer sales stop at the end of the 5th inning?
Many stadiums stop selling beer at the end of the 7th inning. Would stopping sales 2 innings earlier reduce alcohol related problems?
There were good suggestions in the prior "ban beer thread" such as have more police officers at tailgaiting to check ID's and arrest those who violate alcohol laws. MLB can detain drunks so they don't leave the stadium and drive drunk, or the police can arrest the drunks on public intoxication charges and have them spend the night at the jail to sleep it off.
What I don't want to see is a hockey style glass wall that seperates the fans from the field. It would ruin the game. The more alcohol problems occur, the more MLB will seperate the fans from the game.
