Home field advantage and having a team suited to the home park (in theory) is part of what's great about baseball. I understand the need to make money but that would be a sad change to the game for me.

I agree. Baseball is the only sport were the dimensions of the home stadium actually impact a game.

If Cooperstown held more people, maybe Game One could be played there and then go to a 2-2-2 series.

I wouldn't be opposed to one game at a neutral site, and getting rid of the all-star charade. No nine game series. Seven games, opener neutral, in Miami.

I love the idea of it, 9 games may be a bit much but the awards weekend would be awesome and hall of fame stuff all in one. Plus playing the first 2 games at neutral sites would generate more revenue for both the teams playing and the 2 neutral site stadiums plus it would give more people a chance to goto a WS

YES i agree totally, the playoff format is FINE, neutral sites is the worst thing i have ever heard of. I still think its stupid that the ASG decides home field, team with the better regular season record should get it.

that would mean if Red Soxs made it to world series they would technically have like 5 or 6 Home games since every where they go they got fans. They should just keep it the way it is. It's fine.
