Proctor on Fire!

Postby Philliebuster » Sat Jun 30, 2007 9:59 pm

Wow, this man may have officially lost it...have to be some permits needed for this no?

NEW YORK -- His temper already smoldering, Scott Proctor set off an inferno near the Yankee Stadium infield following Saturday's 7-0 loss to the A's, torching various items of his equipment in a smoky blaze.
Perhaps the hot-tempered Proctor hoped to excise some of his recent struggles, lighting a small bonfire a few feet from the top step of the Yankees dugout. He then watched from the railing for several minutes as the contents grew charred and unrecognizable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Scott proctor is one my favorite relievers in the majors, and he is what I call a "true Yankee". He is severely overused but has good stuff and should be a good contributer. I hope he retires a Yankee.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Proctor had to break at least a couple of these....

NY Open Burning Laws:

Debris Burning

1.Do not burn on windy days or when wind is expected.
2.(X)Only woody material such as leaves, grass and light brush should be burned.
3.Clear all flammable material for a distance of 10 to 15 feet around the material to be burned.
4.Keep piles to be burned small adding material to be burned in small quantities as burning progresses.
5.(X)Start burning as early in the day as possible. Try to finish burning before noon if possible as the morning usually has the most favorable daylight weather conditions of high humidity and low winds. 6.These conditions will aid in keeping the fire from escaping.
7.(X)Always have a garden hose, shovel, water bucket or other means of extinguishment on hand.
8.Never leave a fire unattended. Even a small breeze could quickly cause the fire to spread.
9.Always be sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving.
