Pitching well again today. When you look at Suppan, Bush and Vargas, if Yost puts him in the pen Major League Baseball should step in. Can you tell that I have him on my team?

I am going to be very sad when he goes to the pen. With the way Gallardo has pitched in his 3 starts, I find it very hard to believe that the Brewers have 5 starters better than him. I have him in 5 or 6 leagues. :~(

Yep, another strong outing.

Why is he going to the pen again? lol

Oh yeah, to save his arm for the stretch run.

Bummer for fantasy purposes though.

He looks really mature for a 21 year old.

just want to make sure everyone's clear on this....

if he goes to the pen, its not because he isnt good enough to start, or that the other guys are better than him. its because he is 21 years old, and they see him as the future ace of the club. he has never pitched more than 150 innings in a season, and if he were to keep starting in the majors the rest of the year he would be at or over 200 for sure. so for that reason they dont want to over-use a young arm and risk damaging him for the future. its a smart move on their part, just sucks for us fantasy owners!
