Minor League Draft Question

Postby jazzmanljg » Thu Jun 28, 2007 3:17 pm

My final pick in my league's minor league draft is coming up and there are 4 prospects that I am eyeing. Two of them have signed (Main w/Tex. and Aherns w/Tor.) and two have not (Dominguez w/Flr. and Aumont w/Sea.). My first two picks were J. Heyward and R. Porcello neither of which have signed. Do I target one of the guys who has signed to play it safe or are one or both of Dominguez and Aumont too good to pass up? Does anyone know if these two are safe bets to sign?
Thanks to soty for the great sig!

I'd go Aumont. He is too good to pass up, like you said. But Id take Aherns over Dominguez, due to the fact that niether of your guys have signed.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

Either Goldstein or Callis said that the only first rounder they'd be wouldn't be surprised if they don't sign is Porcello. But...I would think the Tiggers would want to get him in and not miss on a potential top 5 guy when he's eligible to be drafted again.

To your actual question, I'd go Aumont.

I'd go with Aumont. That's saying a lot as I've played against Main, and really like him. So for me it would be:
