Nick Swisher?

Anyone have any thoughts on his recent struggles? He hasn't had a multi-hit game in over a week. Sure, he's always been a strikeout risk, but usually they were mixed in with BBs and HRs. Lately, it's just been a lot of Ks. Is this is a sign that he's wearing down, or is it just a slide that parallels Oakland's team struggles? I mean, I never expected him to carry my team or anything, but with Morneau and Ibanez on the shelf, he's been in my active lineup just bringing my batting average for the week down...

he's in slump and A's lineup suks

I just traded him yesterday for Ivan Rodriguez.

His avg hit 295 or so at one point, but from there i think it will slowly recede back to 260 or so. Look at his game log from last year. He did the same thing, except not as many HRs this year. and More walks.
