I dont understand this.
Reyes has always seemed to dominate AAA hitters, but cant get MLB guys.
He isnt going to figure out MLB hitters by pitching in AAA.

Does Tony really think this line up i going to get us to the series again and Reyes is holding us back?

Taguchi 8
Miles 6
Pujols 3
Duncan 7
Rolen 5
Ludwick 9
Kennedy 4
Molina 2
Looper 1

And why send Reyes down to make room for Loop, when you have Wells (mr. useless) and Wellemierer, who both have less upside and are only under contract till the end of the year (when they will likely walk)

I just dont get it. I suppose we will win 80 games instead of 77 now...

Reyes has gotten the worst run support in the majors this year(I believe), and I think he gets under 2 runs a game...

All set last year to take over a rotation spot, then they bring in !Pontoon? and point out in the hand book all Card's pitchers got to have a sinker..guy's been in organization for years, and then they get technical. So up and down, with sporadic innings, bad luck, and playing time dictated by instantenous results.

just doesn't have a good sinker and throwing it messes him up. Yea, his 4 seamer might not have quite the giddyup for pitching up in the zone, but it's no finesse pitch either, and in the minors without the micromanaging does well.

starts here and there show what he can do, plus pitching gem under WS pressure.

the micromanaging, poor defense, bad luck, and poor run support a clue that new org would help.

I think http://www.vivaelbirdos.com (they are a Cards blog and have been charting pitches for each starter) looked at this and Reyes only had like one fastball (or was it ball) up in the zone that was even hit. It was rediculous...
