16 team keeper league, keep 8 vets and 3 rookies/minor leaguers. Team 2 is trading 4 of his top 5 players, he is 2 games out of his division lead with 9 games to go.Team 1 is giving up his 4th best hitter, and his 2nd best SP
I would veto it, the trades seems to favor team to "a lot more" than team one. However, if's there no collusion and this is what both feel is necessary to get there team into first place.. who are you to veto?
Its always tough to evaluate value on keeper trades when your talking about young guys like butler/lind/humber because your dealing strictly in potential....
I probably wouldn't veto this... one team is trading potential studs(or duds) and some current very good players, for some slightly better current players.
If any of the trio of lind/humber/butler turns out to be a fantasy monster this trade would probably be in favor of team 2, but if they all turn out to be average or below average it will be in favor of team 1.
Like I said though, its nearly impossible to evaluate the long term actual value of the trio, but because it is a keeper league you can't discount their value.
