Whats up with James Shields?

Calling all Rays fans........ I was looking at the inning by inning summary and seemed to be doing pretty well. Did he just have some bad luck in the 5th? His last 3 games 5,6,6 Earned Runs have me a little nervous.

he hit a major rough patch with the sox having like 5 straight hits--recovered nicely with 11 K's. He seemed to have the Lincecum disease, trying to throw 41 pitches in 9 seconds. Slow down guys, slow down!!

He still struck out 11 tonight...I think he will be just fine...no one can get through the entire season unscathed.
