Damn i cant wait for it to come out. It looks like its gonna be tight this year. And this is gonna be my 1st year playing Madden on the PS3. I was a beast last year online for PS2. It comes out in like 49 days

I buy sports games every 2 years and I bought Madden last year so I won't be buying it this year. But I will probably rent it and see how it is.

That sucks for you...

From what I've read, this year's Madden has taken the next gen leap, for real. Last year's game was ok but I was terribly dissappointed. I love football games which is the only reason I'm still casually playing Madden from last year.

Madden has taken a big poop on it's reputation with it's last two next-gen renditions, supposedly this is the game to start to set things straight, but I'm still weary. I certainly hope the game has come a long way because it had a lot wrong with it as of recently, and the excuses they gave were pretty lame considering I didn't see other games struggle so noticably from the generation switch.

This year they really focused on the smoothness of the gameplay. New in-air colisions, Sideline catches, better blocking, and improved hitstick, better gang tackling, and im sure there is much more.
