if there were any assurances that oswalt was 100% I'd take him in a heartbeat
wood is the most overated pitcher in fantasy
he's leveled off at around 12-14 wins, you'll be lucky to get another ERA of 3.20, and you can be sure Dusty Baker will throw him until his arm falls off (again)
and until last year, his K ##'s weren't THAT unbelievable
in 02, oswalt struck out nearly as many, with a much better ERA and 19 wins
but like sam malone said, he's still out with a g-g-groin in-jue-ree
YAHOO! RULES!!!!!

i like Oswalt better b/c when healthy THIS KID CAN PITCH. Of course so can Wood but my point is I think the world of Oswalt. If Oswalt is healthy he is better then Wood with less K's. Wood walks way more hitters then Oswalt and will get knocked around here and there. Oswalt when healthy is lights out all the time.
So When Healthy Oswalt.
the safer pick is Wood or is it...we all know how Dusty is w/ his young aces.
I say go with Wood b/c he dosen't have the lingering groin injury.
However Oswalt was unhitable when he came back for the final month last year.
You cant go wrong with either one long term.
