Jun 22 - Bill Chastain, of TampaBay.DevilRays.MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays 2B B.J. Upton (quadriceps) could play in some Florida State League games next week for Class A Vero Beach.
Hopefully the minor league assignment will be early this week and maybe he'll make it back for the weekend series. But I'm guessing he's back around Monday of next week.
Manager Joe Maddon still expects 2B-CF B.J. Upton (strained left quadriceps) to start a minor league rehab assignment Wednesday for Class-A Vero Beach. The stint could last two to four days

Looks like he could be back for next week....yay no more Kaz Matsui
2B/CF B.J. Upton will spend at least the next couple of days at Legends Field with Vero Beach, rehabbing his strained left quadriceps, but the Rays do not expect him to join the team in Cleveland this weekend. "I really don't think so," Manager Joe Maddon said. "There would have to be a dramatic shift for him to be there."
