less steals for ichiro?

does batting 3rd in the lineup mean less steals for ichiro? does his fantasy value go up or down? it would seem like he'd get more RBI but less R and SB. what do you guys think?

I doubt he's going to bat third, but if he actually does this year it makes sense that his SB numbers will most likely drop. He'll probably move up some in RBI's and maybe even a few in HR's, but he's still a guy that goes way too early in every draft for him to ever be on one of my teams.

I agree. I doubt he will bat 3rd. Ichiro is their spark and the fastest guy on the team. They'll want to keep him at #1.

yep, they want him on the basepaths as much as possible. he stays in the leadoff spot
