Parking at Shea?

I'm coming up from Albany this week and would prefer to drive than take the train. I know the commercials are pushing public transportation, but how is the parking options recently? I know when I was there back in May, there were still a lot of spaces. How about now?

I've gone down from Albany several times the last two years and I wouldn't park if you paid me. I drive to Douglaston and take the train and wouldn't think of going down there any other way until Citi Field is finished.

I was given a prepaid parking pass for Saturday's game against the A's. Parking in that lot was the WORST decision ever. It took us over and hour just to get out of the lot. Let alone, the Grand Central.

Use public transportation!!

I use the lot that is off the main part of Shea. It's a small lot, that rarely fills, and it is just a hop skip and a jump to the stadium. Five minutes and you're out of the lot as well.

I still like parking under the viaduct. It's free and you're on the highway right away.

It's right under the highway off Northern BLVD. Across from all the chop shops and stuff...
