I think it's dopey to trade Jeter for Pena, but I wouldn't veto it...

Just curious... if this isn't vetoable what is?

I understand there are some purists out there who think the only reason to veto a trade is video evidence of the one owner making some sort of cash handoff to another (kidding), but this trade is terrible. Just god-awful. I don't understand how anyone would ever consider just letting it go.

Veto, for crying out loud.

Edit: Oops, I had my Penas confused. I was thinking about Tony Pena Jr. This one isn't so bad, but there are still those who would vote to veto.

Not vetoable. Just absurd. Why would the first place team make this deal. I'm thinkin' he may just be getting bored.

Only 3 HR and a .143 ISO from a first baseman in 118 AAA PA so far? Nice AVG but he's looking an awful lot like James Loney right now.

i would have vetoed it if the team getting jeter was 2nd, and the team getting pena was last.

this is definately a veto trade, but since the guy giving up the talent is actually fighting for 1st. let him doom himself.
