Jon Lieber has a ruptured tendon in his right foot and is out indefinitely.
Lieber was planning to make his next start after leaving his last outing with what was called an ankle sprain, but it turned out that his injury was a lot more serious. Um HELLO?!?!?! Seems Gordon is going to beat Myers back. Let him close and put Myers back in the rotation. It's so obvious what the best thing to do really is, but nobody has ever accused Philly management of having an ounce of intelligence.

Well, I believe they've said they don't have any plans to move Myers back into the rotation this season, though I don't know how flexible those plans are now with all those injuries.

We have some Phillies homers who can fill us in soon enough though
