It's Teixeira - he'll be a monster after he comes back. He went on the DL to make sure his quad got to 100% (or as close as he can get), so don't expect him to underperform. Even when his leg was bothering him, he was putting up great numbers.
I like to expect the worst so I'm prepared so I expect that he might come off a little slow, for say a week or so but will eventually become just as productive as before.
i hope he has his usual big 2nd half...but am prepared for a slow start...after missing around a month, you gotta think he will take a week+, or even up to 2-3 wks to get his timing back. man, i hope they dont trade him. they have the money and need the star power, the Rangers are silly if they dont lock him down. if Teix goes to the Yankees, im trading him, all guys numbers drop after going the Yanks...Giambi, Sheff, Abreu, big Unit, and until this year Arod.

One problem with resigning him.... he has already said he's going to free agency, and hasn't come out and said it but you can tell there is 0% chance he resigns with texas. My opinion is they would have to do another arod contract to keep him.
Teix is a stud, I'm expecting some monsterous numbers by the time he comes back. But as a contingency plan, I acquired Delgado just in case Teix hits a slump.
