Ladies and Gentlemen...we have a Jermaine Dye sighting. According to Yahoo, he's in the lineup. ;-D

do I hear a 0 for 4 or maybe a 0 for 5... or maybe he'll get hit by the first pitch he takes and officially go on the DL

I have been sweating over this bum for the entire year... desperately trying to package him in several trades... I have had thoughts that maybe he'll have a "better" (it would have to be a knockout) 2nd half of the season, but I have just seen too many decent RFers on the WWers that have made me think twice about keeping a struggling and gimpy Jermaine Dye...

(RANT OVER... for now)

Considering he's not on the DL, no.

Stop the presses! ...Dye hit a HR tonight! thanks buddy, I knew I kept you all this time for a reason. It's on! ...another 30 bombs post all star break baby! heh I'm just kidding but I do expect him to start hitting at a reasonable clip again after he's healed.

Heh... I actually had put him in my lineup for today, thinking he would probably get at least some ABs with a double-header... but then I came to my senses and put Nick Swisher ( %-6 ) back in.

Thanks Jermaine... Just so you know, it's not March anymore. You can go ahead and start your season any time now.

0 for 7 in the double header before he was mericifully removed for a pinch hitter. The All-Star Break can't come soon enough for this guy. Hopefully he'll take some time off, spend some quality time with Mrs. Dye and the kids, and head back to the ballyard next Thursday ready to light it up.
