I guess I was thinking underrated by the media / general population. But, for the most part, the same players seem to be less discussed at the cafe as well. Dan Haren, for example, has been the best (or possibly 2nd best behind Peavy) fantasy pitcher this year. However, rarely do you see a Dan Haren post.

I don't think anyone is underrating Haren. Overrating perhaps, with his BABIP well under his career average ( that's another topic) - but I think you've not seen many posts b/c he's a non-story. One of the best results all season, from day one, 100% owned - what's to talk about? Holliday the same. and Guillen. All 3 are better than they were drafted, but it's not news they are having great years. Snell had a lot of posts when he broke out - now a non-story. Phillips maybe you have a point, not b/c no one mentions him, but b/c he's starting to border on great and most mentions imply merely "very good".
On the hurler side, Mitre and Guthrie come to mind off the top of my head... on the logger side, John Buck is underrated by his own manager, not to mention others... and I like Phillips there too. but it all depends on in what context you mean "underrated". In some context, all the players you mention fit the bill - in others, not so much. ain't no one slippin' past the cafe, for example.
