Simple but nice looking. Nice lighting, text is good. If I had to nitpick I'd maybe darken it up a little around the part of his helmet where it looks green. I didn't know you were a GIMPer. For your first on Photoshop it's real nice and you should only get better once you become more accustomed. Nice work, keep it up!

yeah i didnt know you used gimp before too...looks good. once you get yourself fully comfortable with the new software, you should see big improvements.

Looks pretty good to me, the BG looks a little plain but I'm just nitpicking.

for a 1st sig i would say that is pretty good. I would recommend changing the color of the text cuz it kinda sticks out and takes away from the sig. I think you should also bring the text up a little bit so it isnt touching the border.
