Jun 23 Jeff Zrebiec, of the Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Orioles SS Miguel Tejada (wrist) will see a team doctor when the Orioles return to Baltimore Monday, June 25. Since the injury is a non-displaced fracture, Tejada believes he will be ready to return to the lineup after his 15 days on the disabled list are over. Orioles vice president Jim Duquette said the team won't be able to determine how long Tejada will be out until after the swelling goes down, but he does not think it will be a long-term injury. Duquette also said, "The doctors say that we should see some healing in seven to 10 days. They said [the timing of his return] will depend a lot on his pain tolerance and we already know that this guy has a tremendous pain threshold."

When or if will he be taken off the un-droppable list? I am in need of a SS and don't have a back-up. I don't really have anyone I want to drop so I need to drop Tejada to pick-up B. Hall or Tulowitzki. Any past experiences with other guys as to how long they wait or do they ever?

15 days isnt long enough. I fractured my wrist in January and it took a month to heal. They will probably be really careful with him when he comes back too.

So is the consesous to drop his sorry a$$? Because even if he does come back in august. He will be week in the wrist and wont provide any power anyway. Not that he provided much before.

SS is so scarce right now, I would def hang onto him in H2H for playoffs, in roto I would seriously consider dropping him. But that all weighs in as to who your backup SS is. Right now mine is Aaron Hill, needless to say my team took a major blow.

I have Glaus and Hardy. I can drop him for some up and coming pitcher on DL or A.Jones. Should I?
