Yes - Yahoo (from ESPN) reports the same:

Jun 22 ESPNews reports the Baltimore Orioles have placed SS Miguel Tejada (wrist) on the 15-day disabled list. With the move, his streak of 1,152 consecutive games played comes to an end.

don't think so. Many players go on the 15 day DL when they are expected to be out for months.

I'm glad he's hitting the DL and not trying to play through it at least.

I wish he were droppable, went in to do it for Bill Hall and Tejada is on the un-droppable list on CBS. So now I have to sit and wait for him to become droppable and then do it for Hall.

Well, it's June and I'm guessing six weeks, which takes us to the end of July. That leaves two months nearly. If you have DL, I'd use it. That said, wrist injuries are just about as bad as it gets for hitters - what will he be like when he comes back? :?

From what I've read about this injury and his nature- I'm betting he's off the DL at the 15 day mark- I'm not sure that is the smartest thing for him to do- but I bet he's back around the 4th.
