Fantasy Impact of an Adam Dunn Trade

Postby Fritzenhammer » Thu Jun 21, 2007 10:47 am

I've posted a piece on Adam Dunn at my blog here:

http://blog.fantasybaseballagent.com/2007/06/21/fantasy-impact-of-an-adam-dunn-trade/

The gist is while Dunn's home/road splits might suggest a trade would be bad for him, his homerun distribution supports the fact that he doesn't need help from the ballpark to hit homeruns. That he hits better at home is not rare - perhaps he's just more comfortable in front of the home crowd.

I've linked to Hit Tracker, and a relevant article by it's author at the Hardball Times, which has a great deal of relevant data that might be of interest to Dunn owners, and stat junkies alike.

Hope this helps anyone who's fearful of a Dunn trade - as long as he gets the at bats I think it will be business as usual for Dunn.

HTH,

FH
