Just wait until everybody has a catcher and grab Molina (Ben; not Jose or Izzy ). He won't hurt you with his average, and anybody with a decent average in Anaheim's lineup can't be half bad.

This is brillant advice. I don't know why I didn't think of it?

I agree that the Anaheim lineup is looking very strong this season and Molina showed plenty of pop last year. The only thing I would add is as Anaheim have a good back up catcher Bengie only plays 120 games which gives him barely 400 at bats down in the 8 hole.
All the other guys on that list Lieberthal, Piezenski, Phillips Hernandez get closer to 500 AB's and Kendall nearer 600.

Since you had 6 good keepers, you should have packaged two of them last year for one improved position, say BOONE and Thome for SOriano. Since you just lost posada for nothing, that would have been a better option

IMHO, catchers generally get a day a week off, meaning they will play only around 140 games a season anyway. Which, coupled with the fact that they usually bat lower in the lineup also means their number of AB's will be lower than the average position player. If you've missed out on one of the top four when your pick comes up, pick one of the next eight out of a hat and you've done about as well as you can, or follow LBJackal's advice - wait until the end and grab Molina or any of several others who will be available. (Robby Hammock or Shawn Wooten both have multi-position eligibility in most leagues)
