Don't know if anyone has seen this.....
News
ESPN’s Peter Gammons reports that Padres first baseman Phil Nevin has lost 30 pounds this offseason through yoga, pilates, and workouts, and appears to be in tremendous shape.
Views
Nevin has missed 158 games over the last two seasons due to injury, but fantasy players who recall his 2001 season when he batted .306 with 41 home runs and 126 RBI are hoping for a big comeback. The news that he’s in such great shape will serve to embolden those who have slapped the “sleeper” tag on him.

Hopefully he doesn't lose too much power, if any. But usually athletes who lose weight don't lose muscle, they lose fat. Unless he was on one of those no carb diets or something, this is a good thing.

He needs to stay healthy, but 30 pounds seems like a lot. I think he might play more games, but I think he will lose a little power.
I know the future!!!!!!!
