He threw about 80 pitches or so through 5 and they had the bases loaded and wanted to capitalize on the situation so they pinch hit Sheffield for him. He looked fine.

Yeah, he'd had a rough 4th inning, they had a great opportunity to pinch hit after he got through the 5th on a walk, bunt force out, double play, and they took that opportunity. He was looking great through three innings but just ok in the 4th and 5th so they probably figured there was no harm in taking the opportunity and turning things over to the pen.
