quick question...is it easier to steal off lefties or righti

this is baseball 101..generally speaking, it is much easier to steal 2B off a righty than a lefty...there are some exceptions: gmaddux is notoriously slow to home w/an average move to 1st and he has been susceptible to steals over the years..there are some slide stepping righties that are hard to swipe against, but because of the natural advantage that a lefty has by facing the runner, it is harder to steal 2B off them...

statistically there is a slight advantage to the runner trying to steal 3B if the pitcher is lefthanded...

and finally the rare steal of home is attemted almost exclusively against southpaws from out of the wind up
